1200 calorie low glycemic diet plan

Most people cringe when having to face any calorie counting diet, but a 1,200 calorie glycemic index diet offers a pleasant range of options. Keep in mind, with a low glycemic index (or GI) diet you’re inducing your body to burn calories during the digestive process and to burn stored fat at the same time. 1500 calorie diabetic diet

How your baby’s growing

Your baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig, is now almost fully formed. Her hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under her gums, and some of her bones are beginning to harden.

These movements will become more frequent as her body grows and becomes more developed and functional. You won’t feel your baby’s acrobatics for another month or two — nor will you notice the hiccupping that may be happening now that her diaphragm is forming. Continue reading

Is there normal R-wave progression? Is AVR inverted? Be very general in this first assessment.

The second step begins our formal analysis of the 12-lead EKG. Check the calibration block on the 12-lead. Is it standard, half-standard, or 2 times standard? Don’t forget to do this. Continue reading

1 month old baby sleep schedule

Congratulations! Now your baby will probably begin to stay awake longer during the day and sleep more at night. Probably — but the range of normal is still very wide.

Your baby’s sleep phases are much the same as your own: drowsiness, REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, light sleep, deep sleep, and very deep sleep. Your baby might start sleeping through the night now — but the definition of “sleeping through the night” at this age is a stretch of only 5 hours! Continue reading
